Our Story

What started as a spark in an 11-year-old boy’s imagination has grown into a thriving family run custom printed clothing brand.

Noah, our youngest, had always said he wanted to be an entrepreneur. From a young age, we supported his ideas, starting with the ones that cost just $20 to try, like buying and selling lollies to make a few bucks. But while those ventures taught him the basics of profit and hustle, none of them truly sparked joy.

Then came fashion.

Noah had always loved the idea of wearing something unique, something that he designed. And it turned out, he wasn’t alone. His dad, Buddy, had always wanted to create and print his own shirts too. That shared passion lit the fuse. Together, they launched our custom printed clothing venture… a father and son dream come to life.

I (mum) am their first hand cheer squad, supporting this creative duo in any way I could.

We started a small single stall at Carseldine Markets. Every Saturday morning, we’d wake up at 4am as a family, load the car, and be fully set up by 5am. Noah in his young age, pushed through the early mornings and showed up greeting customers with a smile every time. Helping with designs, and consistently learning the ropes hands on as a young entrepreneur is hard work, for all of us, but every moment has been worth the effort and so much fun.

After nearly a year of sunrise starts, we shifted to evening Twilight Markets at Southbank, where we continue to set up every weekend, creating and pressing custom shirts and hoodies for walk-in customers who love being part of the process. Southbank has become home to our regulars and friends, a space filled with familiar faces, fun conversations, and the joy of on-the-spot creation.

Now, 2.5 years on, we’re proud to take the next step in our journey, with the opening of a sibling store at Eat Street Northshore, Brisbane. This new space, known as ÜMIQ, is not replacing what we do at Southbank, it’s expanding on it.

ÜMIQ represents the evolution of our brand, offering upgraded apparel, signature designs, and an elevated custom experience. It’s a fresh chapter, tailored for those who want a little more, while still staying true to the hands on wonder that started it all.

Both spaces stand side by side, not in competition, but in collaboration. Each offers something unique, yet both are bound by the same values: family, creativity, and fun.

ÜMIQ is more than just a brand. It’s a story of connection.. built one shirt, one smile, and one shared experience at a time.

As parents, every early morning, every late night, every stall set-up has been a sacrifice worth making because we’re not just building a business. We’re building something much bigger… a legacy. One that gives Noah the tools, mindset, and experience to take his entrepreneurship even further than the present time.

We’ve evolved since the day we started, and we’ll continue to evolve not just in our designs or locations, but in the way we serve. For us, it’s about more than just printing shirts, it’s about delivering an experience that feels personal, purposeful, and memorable every single time.
